Which is best, for you?

For those of you who depend on online work for an income, rather than pocket money, what works best for you? I need to work from home, and I am seeing a few different options. I cant do phone work because there is too much noise here, so the customer service jobs are out. So far, it seems my main choices would be writing, and ptc, if I can devote a lot of time to either, which I can. I dont need to make a fortune, but I do need to make more than 10 dollars here and there. I am still researching this, looking at different work at home forums and looking at different discussions here as well. Most that I have looked at seem geared toward the 10 dollars here and there though. :( Is there hope? :)

I have really dont well with selling a lot of my old books and DVD on Amazon .. . its the easiest thing to do and not only do you get to clean out things that you never will use again but you make cash at the same time. . there are also products that you can sell there. It is easier than EBay and so worth the while! And there are many great sites where you can write articles for. . . SO yes rainie30 there is hope. . there is always hope

I get money every month from other sources, but i depend upon online money making programs to help get caught up on bills and rent. I can't work right now because i don't have transportation, plus the trollys don't take you every where in the entire city, i live in a small city and i depend on family and friends and they work most of the time.

That's kind of my problem. My income source dried up unexpectedly, and I dont have the means to get out due to health issues as well as transportation. I hope you are able to find the online work you are needing too!

I make very good part time income working on oDesk. It is profitable enough that I am realistically working toward a full time income there so I can quit my "real" job. I do only data entry work and I have been very pleased with my earnings. I have a blog that talks about other ways I bring in money, if you are interested in taking a look, the link is in my profile. Cell phone recycling is also very profitable, which I also explain in my blog. My online income has gone up each month and it looks like it will continue to do so with oDesk. Feel free to PM me if I can answer any questions after you have read the info on my blog.

Hi.. I had an online job which is translation of Japanese manga to English and other Japanese to English (vise versa) translation services. I earn about $45-$60 per 20 pages or it depends upon the project given. Not mush but it could surely help a lot since I could finish more than a 100 pages per week since Manga is more of drawings than dialogs. Even if you are not a native speaker of a language, there are translation softwares available. And if you had friends which are native speakers of the language you want to translate, they could help you correct them. (Just be kind and thankful enough to them LOL!) You can find projects in this site http://www.translatorsbase.com/ Happy Earning! I hope this could help.

That is so nice for you! I wish I could do something like this, but I have no friends who are native speakers (or even learned speakers lol). Sounds like you have a nice little gig there, I hope it lasts for a very long time! :)

Wishing you tons of luck! The work is definitely out there, it's just the time factor of weeding out the bad from the good. Hopefully we will both be on profitable journeys sooner than we might think possible. :)

I would love to be able to sit at my home computer and make enough money to live on, but I have yet to find a viable option. The money that I do make from my online ventures amounts to maybe thirty to fifty dollars a month. Mostly, I save it for vacation spending. Fortunately, I have a pretty good full-time job and I can do my online "work" for extra pocket money. Good-luck to you.

Thank you! I have been working online for many years now, and it came to an unexpected end recently. I made a really decent income from it, so I know the work is out there, I just have to find it. Glad you're able to find enough to give you spending money on vacation! :)
