I haven't read the book but I've heard the book and the movie end a bit differently. I'm not going to say anymore so as to not be a spoiler for those who haven't seen/read either or both! Annie

I believe that whenever a movie is made based on a novel its always a bit different.

Hi beatriz I have never actually cry in a movie but there are some that i must admit i was about to do it. My sisterĀ“s keeper was one of them, its a really touching movie. Other one i really liked was Up, one of my favorite of the year.

What a question! I happen to be the world champion of crying at movies; I cry when they're sad and I cry when they're happy. I cry when I see particularly moving scenes. Basically, I just cry a lot...lol! "My Sister's Keeper" is definitely one of the top tear-jerkers. There are so many others it would take me forever to name just the ones that I can think of off the top of my head and I know I'd probably forget hundreds. One that definitely springs to mind is "The Way We Were". Of course there's "Love Story" and then there are the made for TV movies based on true stories such as "Brian's Song" and "Something For Joey". Annie

Thanks for the BR! I certainly agree about "Sweet November" and Titanic" as well. They're both near the top of my "most boxes of tissues needed" list. I even cried at the end of "2012". Annie

I am a big baby when it comes to crying at movies. Any movie where there is an underdog who come out on top turns me into a blubbering mess. Movies like Rudy, The Natural, Karate Kid...don't get me started. I also cry when, say it with me now, "they all lived happily ever after"... So movies like While You Were Sleeping, Ever After...those type. And then there are those tear jerkers that just rip your heart out, smash it up, and slam it back into your chest. Movies like Brian's Song and Steel Magnolias, terms of Endearment. Steel Magnolias is my, cry until I am physically exhausted, movie. No matter how many times I watch it, it gets me every time.
