what do you really want?

is it really clear to you up to this moment what do you really want to do or to have in this life?
people differ from each other a lot but why is it that some people really succeed in everything they do, are they just lucky? or it was really meant for them.. in my point of view, one succeeds in their endeavor if they have that unfailing passion to do the things they like right? and the sweetest reward is that you'd be happy in everything you do and that you'll appreciate life more.. about me i think one of my passion is to really express myself through writing, and i really enjoy sharing my thoughts and views to different people, cuz i really like learning new things from others experience, and it is really brings me happiness everytime i have the chance to share advices to what i think would help and benefit the person, i am an open minded person, i have my own beliefs but i am always ready to listen to what others point of view, i really want to achieve happiness in all areas of my life by being true to myself and others, doing what brings me joy and what makes me empowered, true happiness does really exist not only to the things that we could see but also to the unseen.. and that for me is Love.. if we all learn to really love, i believe we will achieve peace in every land.. and just a thought to ponder on,i personally believe that if you learn to first love God, you will then learn to love yourself in a way that you'll appreciate more what you have and what you can share too and that is where you also learn to love others unconditionally,(i don't mean to be bias on other beliefs about God ok..;) what i want to stress out on this is that true Love is the key to achieve happiness it may be love in your career or for the family or in a relationship,,, and i believe that LOVE is THE GREATEST, and for my co-believers about God, let us always remember that GOD is LOVE, and it is said that of the three, faith, hope and love, love is the greatest, right? share that love inside of you and you will be amazed at the returns it will bring, enjoy what life brings and life is all about learning so treasure every new ideas,,, i want to hear any feedback on this and want to hear your own opinion too, i know i still have a lot and lots to learn from you guys, i'm glad i was introduced to myLot, i am enjoying everything i do here..happy happy myLotting friends...

That's true that God is love, besides pleasing God I want to help people my family and friends and strangers in need which i have done. I love helping elderly folkes, especially strangers because there are really no elderly people in our family, they're all gone. The one's that are here live thousands of miles away, i love making other people happy and giving kids things that they want, it doesn't really matter if i'm happy just as long as other people are happy, cuz i know i'll never be happy in my current situation so i don't worry about pleasing myself, i just please God and help people and do other things.

yes i do agree.. PLEASING GOD is really what would really satisfies us a lot..
loving God first and loving others is also a way of loving yourself, we may not notice it but remember "we cannot give something we do not have" .....
and just by reading your post, i know that you are a loving person, keep the LOVE rolling until it reaches back to you and you'll share more of it and you'll be amazed of what GOD can really do for us.. let us continue to be a channel of God's blessing...

Right now, i am at a point in my life were i don't know at all what i really want... i feel completely stumped, completely lost... i have no idea where i'm going or what i really want to do with my life... all i know are the things that i want right now, this very moment... but in the long term... it's a blank! :(

we have to observe ourselves, what do we do best or rather what do we enjoy best.. slowly but surely you will know it from within just have patience.. i had a difficulty at times but life tends to really teach us not to and never give up on the things that makes us happy, that will be our reason to be here on earth and interaction with people help us to know more of ourselves,right? try to focus on the things that makes you feel good, and continue to do it, life is about a matter of choice, nothing is wrong if we fail in our tries, what is really wrong is that if you really never tried, then easily give up on it.. step forward, know for yourself what you are capable of, and surely many people will be blessed in what they would see in you..and just a little sharing to you of my personal experience, i have been so confused before that i felt nothing is going right in my life, but then i was reminded by a friend that there is still hope and that she shared to me what God can do help me realize what i really want in this life, it doesn't take overnight to realize those things but having a sincere desire and talk with God surely helped me.. we have different situations and beliefs and what i recommend is that you stick on the things that would make you feel empowered, enlightened and joyful..and i really love and enjoy music so i do listen a lot, as a matter of fact i am listening to on right now,i believe this little act makes me feel empowered and happy, so i do it as often as possible.. happy myLotting!

That's a good question. Something I often ask myself in my thoughts too. Apart from the material things in life that almost everybody wants what do I really want?
And whenever it comes to that I find myself nowhere. I don't know what I want if it wasn't the fantasies of our worldly life. I tend to take the material things like, cars, exotic woman, money etc out of the picture because these things never have an end to them at all. Seems like after getting one thing you'll feel satisfied with it enough to want another one. It's just a never ending cycle.
So what is there really that I could want once and upon getting it would satiate me forever.
That's what I always think and ponder about in my thoughts and never seem to come to a particular conclusion!

It's so kind of you, and you bring the happiness to others. As me, I really don't know what I really want, when I set up my goal, I did that only for several days then give up, scared to failed, so I think every goal isn't easy for me. When some fresh idea brust into my brain, which make me so excited, however when I executed that, it makes me feel very difficult, and even made me consider so much. I don't stop my thought to consider everything, but I hope I can set up my dream and realize it. However, I don't what I can do, how can I realize it, and even don't know what I really want......I hope I can have happiness in all of my life, this is simply, I hope I can do this. Happy mylotting.

what i have heard on some people is that "don't be afraid to fail"... failure will teach us to be persistent, to really get and achieve what really makes us happy.. i sometimes feel that i can't do it, but glad to realize that every trial is worth trying, you will never know what's next until you try it, if you think it will make you happy in some ways then do it, if you fail,find something to learn to, then you will realize that life is really good to give it try, for sometimes we will never know what was really our potential if we have doubts to try on.. what i believe is that the only thing that will be in pain is our little pride, and that pride is one of the wall that keeps us from getting to experience what sweetness of life can bring, i am also at times coward to try on something new, i don't wanna feel the pain of failure brings, but i have to realize that it is me who can only help and improve myself,i have to choose, we don't need to be fast in learning and achieving success, most important is that you cherish the journey..it is like you are climbing on a mountain, you don't have to know what is on the top,you must enjoy the climb itself, and you will be amazed at what you will see at the top, learning how to climb every trials in life makes life worth living..

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I could only say this much and that is 'Man proposes but God disposes'There is so much packed in these few words and when that is the case having lofty ambitions will only frustrate us. Instead I would say -live for the moment and make the best of what you have. It is not what how much we have but what we make of what we have leads us to true happiness.

As far as I am concerned, I think I am not so clear about my dream. What I really want most is not clear ,either. Frankly speaking, maybe I want in my life is not difficult for,but it is so difficult for me. I just want to have a true love now, which can give a happy life.Have a nice day.

I do know what I want but getting there is a long way to go. I have so many things I want to achieve for myself and for my family that sometimes I get weary thinking how to accomplish them. Like right now I have already accomplished one by getting the job that I really want regardless of the pay. Another is I am also starting to do my party planning thing which I think is a blast. For the other foresights I have for myself and my family, those are big things that I need to plan ahead and hopefully I am able to save up for it.

You have some very interesting views on the world around you. And, it is true. Nothing can truly be accomplished if one gives up and doesn't see it through to the end. That is what is the most important in life in general. Nothing that is worth doing unless you're willing to do what it takes to get the result you want. If you try to skate by life nothing will be accomplished.
Nothing in life is handed to you on a silver platter, and very few people actually see that. Those that realize it, seem to me to be far and few inbetween.
