Are there any electric vehicles running in your country?

I read a piece of news that London has 200 charging station for electric cars while there are a handful of in Japan. It is said that Japan is going to launch electric cars next year in European countires.
so, where are you from ? and are there any such cars running already? if so, how are they performing?

Hi! I'm currently living in Osaka Japan now. Most of the major car companies here manufacture electric cars. It runs on lithium-ion batteries. Less expensive than recent gas-fueled cars. By now most seen on the streets are old models and prototypes.

I m from India and yes one electric car is running named REVA...I dont know how it performs but only 1% of people used it coz there are only 2 seats in tht...
