Two years ago we got suckered into buying a timeshare and this stupid presentation that sounded like a good deal at the time, but now we can't get rid of it. We tried to get some people to buy it but no one wants it. Apparently they know now what we didn't know then. And we tried to give it away but no one wants to take it because they know about the monthly fees even if you receive it as a gift.
So how can we get rid of it? I've seen some companies that claim to help you get rid of old timeshares ( http://www.apexprofessionalsllc.org/ ) but I've never met anyone who has used them. Have you? Are they legit?
Thanks. And please don't flame me for buying a timeshare.
