Do you want or tried travelling in a jungle?

Nature is the extension of mankind. Did you ever thought traveling purely in a jungle for fun? or had you experienced the same? Just imagine the setting, no cars,no current, no cellphones only you and your needs for a known duration.

I never really travelled in a jungle but I have been through some. Going to some small towns that require going through mountainous roads and jungle. This one time we went to this town up in the mountains, I was with my mom and some friends. Anyway, we went through these really windy, narrow roads on a huge ford truck. You look out of the window and there is this 500ft ledge you are staring down, the truck could hardly fit on that road. We "ran" into this other truck that was going the opposite way and he had to back up the hoill for about ten minutes where the road widened. Then we blew a tire and we had to replace it and we finally found a town thats pretty well onl has a tire shop. And they gave us directions and we were on our way. And a trip that was an hour in a half took us like 4 hours. And the trip back was an adventure with closed roads and direction taking and such as well. Ahh the adventures with that guy...

Hello. I have been to Sumatra island, Indonesia, one time, and travelled up on to the mountain ranges. I didn't go too far into the jungles, but I could see the jungles from a distance, very scenic and very enticing. I was not quite prepared then to trek into the jungles, but I certainly wish that I could try treking the next time I get the chance to visit Sumatra.

As far as I am concerned, I have not tried travelling in the jungle which I think is so dangerous. There is a lot of strange things we will never think about. So I do not want to go to the jungle. Happy mylot.

Hi. I grew up in the mountains of Mindoro, Philippines. We had no electricity, cellphones, televisions. What we only have then was a transistor radio powered by batteries. Life was simple. My cousins and I would go to the forests and pick wild fruits and actually eat them. We've had so much fun climbing on trees and swing on vines hanging from big trees. We've had a good time playing on farm lands and chasing farm birds and other animals. I have returned to the place just a month ago. According to my relatives that are still living there, they've just had electricity supply/service about two months ago. Because of that recent development in the community, they're daily activities have changed significantly. The kids now stay at home most of the time because they're so hooked watching the television, playing computer or cellphone games. Kids now have less interest in wandering on the mountains during their free times.

I wanna try to. I have never been to a jungle before because there's no jungle in my place. I think that would be really fun. I'll bring someone along with me, someone professional and expert in being in jungle.
