Do you follow your conscience?

we should! our conscience is the representative of God within us. Our conscience has the ability to discern what is right or not, what is of God or not.. We should be governed or ruled by our conscience. if we do things which are againts our conscience, then you will not have peace within because it is the same as you did not follow the law so you are condemn within you.. if all people follow their conscience, then there's no need for a police man anymore who will captured those who are not law abiding ones. and if you follow your conscience then you will be at peace and you'll be happy in your life without any worries or doubts or fear.

If we are humble and sensitive to what our conscience is telling us, then we can follow our conscience. But I learned that there are people whose conscience is blinded already because they are not sensitive anymore to what their conscience is telling them. Their heart became hardened that even if the conscience is telling them that what they are doing is wrong doesn't have an effect at all. I follow my conscience because I get nervous even thinking of stealing.

I am a big follower of my conscience. It is the voice that guides me along. It always tries to stop me from doing something bad. If I do something wrong knowingly, be it something like telling a lie, I dread my conscience as I know it will sting me at some point of time and make me miserable. It is very important for a person to listen to the voice of his conscience,and I agree with you that so much of violence and destruction could have been avoided in this world if people had listened to their conscience and acted accordingly. I generally do follow my conscience and try to be true to myself. However, here and there a white lie needs to be told to improve a relationship or get one on the right track there I do go against my conscience and when the ploy works it is rewarding enough to have made this transgression.
