I have watched this anime entitled "Monster". The story is about the life of a Japanese surgeon named Dr. Tenma, and how he met the boy named Johann. I am a bit confused of the movie's timeline. I know that it all started with their parents being paired for in this experiement in Czechoslovakia. But after that, I don't know. Of course, the one one who made this movie would not want it done in chronological fashion for the sake of suspense. Please help! Thanks!

I believe that the series that you have watched, as most anime would come frm, originated from the manga. I really didn't get the chance to watch the series but, I was able to finish the manga. Even in the manga, it was quite interesting! Regarding about your question, I'm not sure if the origin that you are talking about is the same with the one that I recall. I mean, I could recall that there was an orphanage where they did the experiments... Aaaahhh!! I am not sure anymore (T_T )

Yes, it's about those kids who were in Kinderheim with all those expetiments, and finally, the mass murders in the Rose Mansion. The characters are Runge, Johann, Nina, Dr. Tenma.

If you have a lot of time, I would like to suggest for you to read the manga. The the narrations isn't as confusing as even if the time line does change sometimes in some chapters, you wouldn't really get lost in understanding the story. It has just been a long time since I read the manga. I can't recall details anymore. Sorry. (-_-")

No, I haven't watched the anime but I have read the manga... and it is really good! I haven't read anything like this before, this is the first mystery series that I got into. The ending was a bit awkward but it was fitting for the story, I guess
