If you are meaning playing in Men's team, then yes, officially there is no rule that girls shouldn't be in the team. But unofficially that option is not considered purely on the basis of physical differences. In Tennis also women don't compete with Men. I think, if a woman is physically as fit as any other man and can perform at par with Men then she can play in the team. But a woman surely can't bowl around 130 to 140 km per hour or run as quickly as a man can (In athletics too, men have better record than women. It is just a natural difference between a man and a woman. If a girl can perform then she can join the Men's team. In chess, Women compete against men. May be, in that sport it is allowed as it is mainly with respect to Mind and calculation. If women show that they are physically at par with men then they can play alongside men. Let's hope in future that might happen! Happy Mylotting!

If women want to play in mens sports against men. Then men should also be allowed to participate in women sports against women. It think its is best that each gender play against its own. This way we know who the best womens player is and the best male player is.

You have a point, but I think it is not about one going into another's team. It is about competing at the highest level. If women's cricket can surpass men's cricket in performance, speed, entertainment, number of sixes, etc etc then the question of men playing in women's team arises. It is like asking Ranji players to play for University. Though University Teams might have some brilliant players it is still notable that they are upgraded to Ranji and then International level and not the otherwise. There might be some men who are ready to run in women's marathon competitions but they are not allowed for the simple reason that there is an advantage for them over women competitors. But it is the reverse case for women. So it is all about equality in performance and the highest level competition.

Wismay you are mistaken, in Tennis, there is a mixed doubles competition, in the four grand slams. So I can say that both Men and Woman play together as far as tennis is concerned, because the winner of the four mixed doubles grand slams are officially announced as a grand slam winner.

This is a very good question. The fact is I would like to see a mixed team of men and woman play cricket. This need not be a test match, but a start can be made with a 2020 competition, and may be they can have six men and six woman in the team. Since people want to make cricket interesting, I hope they do something like this.
