Hi! My favourite room in our house is the kitchen! The reason for this is that it is the first room to be modernised (with the generous help of friends and family in the form of vouchers/donations instead of wedding presents) so it a special room because it reminds me of them. Unbelievably I like to cook in there too!

Hi Janey, My favorite place in the house is also the kitchen. A place in the house where i can express myself fully -- how special and important my family to me. I prepare and cook the best ever food i can for them. i put all the ingredients with passion and love. i used to spend most of my time when i'm home in the kitchen. the second is the bedroom.

Hi! What a sweet comment, I love it! Do you have a large family? Here there is just me, my hubby and the cat.

My favorite room in my house is my lounge. It is called a living room too. I have a comfortable armchair and a sofa bed. I have got a table and chairs. My son has a highchair and my daughter has a play cushion. We have a wonderful view of our garden. Beyond that are a river and some green fields. On the wall I have some paintings of tropical beaches. I have some book shelves housing my photos and collections. I collect custome dolls from around the world.

Hello again! Sorry to take a while to respond. I am trying to envision what this room of yours looks like. It does sound warm and cosy to me, especially with children around you (I have none, just the cat and hubby when he's back from work). I wish we had a garden but our yard has been given a facelift by my father-in-law, who has his own, HUGE garden that I envy. When Mum visits us at the back end of February she's told me she shall bring some Summer bulbs to plant with the greenery I already have (inbetween them) so I can't wait for that. So your dolls are in traditional dress from the country you bought them from, is that right?

I love my living room and dining room....they are connected. I love the colors in my living room and the pictures I have on the walls...Terry Redlin and his paintings really say what I am about...my dining room I painted a different color last year and I love how the whole thing turned out.....from a frumpy room to a very classy room...

Hi! I will do some research about Terry Redlin as I like to learn these things and thanks for sharing. There is a painting by David Shepherd that I love dearly. It is two Giant Pandas in the wild (where they belong) and my living-room will be complete when I finally get around to buying the picture. Not even started decorating yet but we can all dream can't we! I am so glad that you are satisfied with your decorating results. I envy you because that's what I want and can't have at present!

Mines would be the front room as for now. I am usually in here on the laptop. We don't have any cable in our bedroom. Just only in the front room. This apartment did not come with a cable line in all of the rooms, just only one. When I get cable in my bedroom, then that is where I will be mostly then. My bedroom is the second place that I am at as my favorite room in my apartment.

Hi! Yes, I have my desktop computer downstairs in an open-plan living room, which used to be two rooms but for some reason, the previous owner decided to knock the wall down so now there's an annoying archway inbetween the two. Hope that makes sense! I would love this room more if was decorated and we need a new fire/fireplace as a focal point because the current set-up is old-fashioned and the fire itself doesn't work anywhere so it's common-sense I suppose to replace it with a more energy-efficient version. That's a long way off though due to finances being a bit strained! We have broadband (with a satellite dish outside, on the front wall) but many people have cable too in this country, my brother included.

My favorite room is our bedroom. It is where I rest and have a good sleep, a place where I want to be cleaned and organized all the time, a cozy place which makes me feel at peace and comfortable.Other areas in our house are important too but I just love my bedroom most of all.

Hi! Yes, I like the bedroom too. I'm not one of those people that has to have a television in their room because I find them distracting, to be honest. Music is OK but at the moment, I have a little clock radio as my hi-fi is kept downstairs. Need a new bed though, mine's getting a bit lumpy lol.

Let's see my favorite room in the house would have to be........my frontroom for I spend more time in there then I do in the kitchen or basement. Especially since it is so cold in the basement during the winter time. I love spending my moments with the family after we all get home from our busy schedules. We all sit down and enjoy a good conversation and then we do our family nights and play games. Thanks for sharing. Be safe and stay warm.

Hi! That sounds lovely, getting everyone together in the same room. Mum and Dad always encouraged me and my brother to sit with them at the table to eat and I rarely spent time on my own upstairs in my room because - to be honest - it was boring! No heating up there in the early days either so it made sense spending time with the family. Hubby has this annoying habit of eating his food (on a plate, obviously) on his lap in front of the television..and he could easily do this sat at the table with me because we're in the same room! I blame his parents! They only use the dining table on Sundays! Grrrr!!!
