It's a slow grim rainy day here

Today it has been raining since I woke up. It is grey outside and there is no possibility of going outside to use my pole anytime today. Which is okay I have developed an indoor workout to keep me from losing out on calorie burning opportunities. This is the 3rd or 4th time ir has rained here all year. I think that its rarity here helps me to appreciate the rain. I like it, I like to watch it forming puddles outside and dripping from the trees. However confronted with a cold wet cat from outside I complain, and splutter and fuss. So I guess I like the rain as long as I don't have to go out into it or when it is not brought inside to me. I love the desert that I live in and I think that it is especially beautiful in the transforming rains.
Do you like it when it rains. Do you find the jeweled drops dripping from trees, buildings, and structures beautiful? Or do you just find it inconvenient and annoying?

I like the rain because it fills up the rainwater tank I have in the back. Otherwise, I like it because it makes the house cool and not hot and humid like the weather is now in the Summer (in my country at least). Rain can be annoying if it rains too much and floods the roads and causes delays or just closes off the roads altogether.

You must be in Australia or somewhere near there for it to be summer there right now. It can be annoying when you get too much rain, but it can also be bad when you get too little too.

I live in the desert so I am used to drought and flash floods. It don't get much better than this does it? It could be worst it could rain like it does in England (constantly) where we are.

Yeah, I am in Australia. The weather can be really wacky over here. There was a drought and when it started to rain, it floods.

It is cold and light misty rain here and the wind is very cold I don't like it all!I wish for the spring to hurry up and get here but it is barely winter here

Colc rain is not fun. Spring will be here soon but where I live spring doesn't normally bring rain.

Hi, sharone74. I find it very relaxing. This gives me an excuse to stay indoors all day. I can have a bad hair day when it is raining without having to worry about someone noticing.
