"Reading maketh a full man..." thus go the saying of Francis Bacon, a thinker of great eminence. Though none of us are perfect in our outlooks and behavioral modes, our quest for knowledge, an insatiable thirst for knowledge do get satiated through the habit of reading. In this era of visual media too the importance of reading in building up the person could never be undermined. It is only through reading that we achieve fullness in every aspect of our lives.

Yes Sukumar... Reading always makes a full man. Beyond this, discussion makes a ready man. That is what is read, is to be discussed among same minded persons, so that the read out concept or topic is exercised by a discussiion with similar persons to minimise our doubts and develop better understanding and confidence over the topic. Also, again beyond this, writing makes an EXACT MAN!! Because, writing is the literary record, what we have read, discussed and understood! Written topics by us are already our digested topics, which we accept with more certainity and dependablity!! Thanks for this beautiful topic and have always similar topics!!

I am very glad that God blessed me with a true love for reading. There is nothing in the world that compares to it.

Oh yes, I can agree with Francis Bacon there. When reading, I can often be taken into an imaginary world. Even reading non-fiction, if it is well written, I can imagine myself in the situation that the book is presenting - and that for the most part, just has to be beneficial to health and well-being on all levels. - Derek
