Christmas is just around the corner and after Christmas is over, so will all the crafting be that we elves have been busy doing! i already have some fun projects lined up for the new year (here in Canada, winter tends to be rather long) and i have to say i am just itching to get at them! one is weaving. i bought this super funky chunky wool at the dollar store (dont ya just love em!?) that i hope to weave with. also, i am planning to start making my own paper (all i need to get is a blender and have been scouting thrift stores for them!) also, i am planning to do some scrapbooking for my daughters. (their baby books look a mess!) what about you? any plans?

Sounds like you will be really busy during the cold, winter months. I am still working on Sesame Street crafts. I have so many Christmas crafts finished so didn't feel the need to make anymore this year. In fact, have been trying to think of a place to store them in the house. Have them scattered all over and need to make some changes. Last Christmas I finished several poinsetta coaster sets but didn't do a craft fair so they are still in the house. I crafts using plastic canvas. The coasters are fantastic since they hold any excess water and don't leave marks on tables. Stopped by our daughter's house the other day and she has the candy cane tissue cover and coasters to match out for the holidays. I was flattered.

I am hoping to get back into jewelry making. It has been three years since I have done this so I am hoping to get back into this. What I am hoping to do is start making jewelry so I can sell it at craft fairs and possibly online. I want to make sure I have enough money for Christmas next year and also to help with the bills. I am also going to look into making Santa Claus and Snowman characters to sell around the hoidays next year.

You know I really did not give much thought for the New Year until I saw your post. the first thing I need to do is organize my craft supplies etc. I have all over the place actually I was just organizing some of my beads. I would love to concentrate on my charity work next year.

I have always wanted to try to make my own paper.....one of the gals in my stamping club makes her own....someday I intend to try it....I'll be doing some scrapping and card making during the winter...also my youngest granddaughter asked me to make her a blanket you sew (she is four) so I guess a quilt is also in my future!

I haven't started thinking about next year yet. I'm still trying to finish knitting an afgan for this christmas. But I guess I should think about what is next so I'll have something to work on when we drive to the beach for New Year's. Will probably start a baby afgan since someone is always having a baby at our church.

Yep. My plans are to string popcorn with the kiddos. In addition to make a few keepsake ornaments from eggs. Years ago I used to make these fabrige-style eggs. Now the kids want to make some for the Yule tree.

This Christmas I am knitting Christmas presents. The knitting is very basic. I plan in January to start doing more stitches and start working on sweater etc. I also want to learn how to crochet.

I want to get started on next Christmas, I want to stitch with waste canvas on shirts for the family - this year is going to be kind of craft poor because I worked all year on a present.
