posting html on my profile;

yesterday I tried to post a twitter widget- one of those things that show your tweets and gets updated automatically- on my profile, but I couldn't get it to show. I added an html "sortie" or box to do it, but every time I tried to post it, nothing displayed. Has anyone else tried this? is twitter not allowed on here, maybe? w
