Teacher/Professors eyes here!

I am Teaching computer education to 3rd & 4th Year High School students here in one of the provinces in the Philippines my problem is this teens don't have computer at home & once they got home they tend to be busy with the household chores, gathering firewood & with the needs of their family. In the next day after discussing the topic they just can't recall the discussion the previous day. If you were in my position what are you going to do to

sorry for the hard day at work today. I am not a teacher but I was a student... lolz... sometimes it is hard to stay focus if there are a lot of work at home. Do you have a lot of homework for him? you have to tell them what is really important in study... focus. or you can start giving them a reward if someone done a good job. Or do competition with other kids...
sometimes, I didn't study cuz of lazy and lacking of interest for the class I took. So, I can't say it ... hope you find the way out
