What Is The Funniest Thing You Have Seen On TV?

Personally, I think the more recent comedy is over-rated, especially now when the PC Brigade doesn't allow jokes. In my opinion ALL jokes are going to offend somebody, that's the whole point! You just don't take them seriously....then you don't become offended. Simples!
In the 90s there was a show called Blackadder. Altogether there were 4 series of these plus a Christmas Special that was dire..but anyway..
There was a scene in Blackadder 3 I think it was whereby Stephen Fry proceeded to beat up Hugh Lawrie as the latter was dressed up as the servant but was actually the Prince...anyhow I've never seen so much slapstick comedy in my life and Hugh Lawrie looked as though he was being hurt for real, the poor man. There was something strangely hilarious about the whole thing, though. Very peculiar!
Hugh Lawrie has a brilliant American accent in 'House' but the Brits shall always remember him in Blackadder. He was ace.
And another thing...every single 'Fawlty Towers' episode that was ever made in the 70s was an absolute scream. No way could that be made now, which, I suppose makes it even funnier!

Hi Janney,
WE have lots of funny TV programs here in our country both local and international. Since there's a lot of them and they really make me laugh. Now pardon me for not mentioning any because some of them are local and they are in Filipino.
Wait--i thing the "funniest video" is one!

Hi!
Yes, a lot of our decent comedy these days are on satellite TV and from many years ago. Comedy that is made now isn't that great in my opinion but it is wonderful you have funny programmes in your country. That may be why Filipinos look so happy, who knows? :-)

yes we love to laugh amidst the hardship in life --laughter is a past time for us. because of the cable tv, we are privilege to watch international programs including those comedy shows. some are "corny" but the rest are really funny.
