Words to describe falling in love

People are always saying that there are no ways to accurately describe the feeling of falling in love, the feeling of a first kiss with someone who steals your heart, things like that.
I'm wondering if anyone can think of a creative way to describe these things.

For two people whose characters are quite different, falling in love with each other is a kind of pain. Now i am single, i decide to being single until i am mature enough.
