Winter storm.

Today there was a winter storm. It started at about 7am and my morning PCA did not get here until around 9am because Belchertown didn't plow very well. I told her that this was because the town is broke which is true. I understand that we're broke but it doesn't make sense to not plow because that will just lead to more damage, accidents, and lawsuits because they did not plow well. I was really getting nervous. I called her at 8:18am and she still hadn't shown up at 8:50am even though at 8:18am she said she would be here in 10 minutes. I was just about to call someone to go look for her in case she flipped over her car or some other horrible thing when she walked in the door.
I got up then. I listened to a CD and wrote a little bit and then took a long nap. I don't usually nap anymore because it throws off my sleeping schedule but storms tend to overwhelm me and I just want to nap because there's nothing else to do especially since I don't have cable anymore. The most interesting thing I did was write the end to my malice story while I was waiting in my bed for my PCA to arrive. Then, I watched the series finale of Monk Part 1. That was so sad. I'm waiting for Part 2 to come up on Hulu in about three days. What did you do during the storm? Did you cancel any plans? For me, I didn't get to go see A Christmas Carol again or spend my Best Buy coupons.

we didnt get as much snow as you, in fact, here where i live in canada, we got rain!(instead of snow! although most of the towns/cities around us got the white stuff) so, sadly, i had to go to work (no rain days for me!) then to a drs appt in the afternoon.

Well I tend to be the one DRIVING through the storm, unfortunate as that is. I can understand your PCA being late..Traffic was slowed down just about EVERYWHERE I went yesterday when we had our "storm". Now we still have about 8 inches of snow on the ground, and lots and lots of slush, but otherwise it's not too bad at all. This morning, though, I gave myself a little "snow day". I didn't feel like getting out and about (to school) so I declared it an unofficial "snow day" and skipped school instead. I was so giddy about this, because I had been meaning to take a "veg" day for a while. So I woke up at about 10, went to the library and grocery store, checked out a few books and got a few bites to eat, and then went home and started reading one of the books I checked out from the library. It was relaxing! Whenever we have storms, I always want to curl up and read a book or watch a Lifetime movie. I don't know what it is about weather increments that do this to me (and you, too, apparently).
. I was going to watch some TV, but there were only those trashy day time talk shows on..So i thought..forget that! Time to read! LOL. Anyway, I would love to see the Monk finale, but of course I missed it on TV. How does that Hulu thing work? Is it free?
