Your Own Top 10 Most Fascinating People of 2009

Hello all.
At the end of each year, it is traditional to choose a lot of top 10 things. Barbara Walters is doing a special on TV in the US tonight on her top 10 most fascinating people of 2009. I thought it would be interesting if we each chose our own personal favorites for the top 10 most fascinating people, world wide, for 2009.
Mine are in no particular order:
The kids who played in Slum Dog Millionaire -- Brilliant
The Obama Family -- Innovative and dedicated to change for the better
Jon and Kate -- what on earth drives those two??
Dr. Mehmet Oz -- brilliant and compassionate
The people I've come to know here on MyLot -- Unique, intelligent, funny! Hugs to you all :)
Terrorists -- Fascinating in the worst way ... what drives such evil minds? Are they brainwashed? Inherently wicked? Truly believing that God wishes them to do such atrocious things to other human beings???
Susan Boyle -- For her amazing talent
Michael Jackson -- For his brilliant talent, and for all I've learned of his troubled past, his inner agony and struggle
My Mom -- ...yes, my mom, who constantly amazes me with her wisdom and support, and how she keeps going, even at 86 yrs. old
My children and grandchildren -- they have fascinated me since the day they were each born and they still do...as does the depth of my love for them.

Hello my friend PeacefulWmn9 Ji,
While I do admire your selection, but being simple house wife, I have never been so much facinated to think all about them. I only know you all and myLot doing great job by keeping our relationship so close. Recently, with my hubby I viisted a relation, where they were disciples of Ravi-Shanker, tehy asked us whom do we follow, my hubby just came out with blunt reply, he himself. He says, anybody removes eveils from society, he will lie down infront of that person. Whatever you have counted, tehre is none who has done any free services for human being. I am not against Obama, but his presidenship was born in recession, due to whose fault.
So I am not facinated by anyone.

It seems we all adore our families and friends above all, and that really does a heart good to see :))
I forgot Dr. Phil -- good choice! Thank you for sharing your top 10 with us, and have a beautiful night. We're still in the middle of a blizzard! But it really hypes me up lol. I've been cleaning, cooking, and I finished decorating for Christmas today :))

hi peacefulwmn9 I also opt for the Obama family, and
Yara our activties director here who really goes all
out to make things fun for us, and my friend Jess who
is the kind of person who helps everyone and cares for
all of us , and George who is the president of us residents'and listens to all the bellyaching from various residents here, and never gets upset either. Also my best friend Nelda who is always there for me and has m ade my stay here very bearable. and in my list is my son Robbie whom I love deeply. Can I name Dr.Oz too,he s really great, and Oprah Winfrey, I do so like her program. those are my picks. and a lot of kudos to all my mylot friends who make every day special for me here.
