What's the right age to teach toddler? Mothers, Teachers, Child Psychologist.

I have a 1yr & 9mos. old son. I am just confused of what is the right age to teach him the alphabets, numbers, opposites, colors, shapes etc. I am scared to expose him at a very young age because basing upon my experience my neighbor was expose at a very young age to school after her graduation in College her memory sets back & she doesn't want to go find a work for she is tired she is just staying at home & do her hobbies. So anybody is open to share their opinions.
