What is progeria disease? Is there any treatment for this disease?

Helo friends,
I have recently watched 'Paa" Movie. Now I know how dangerous disease is it, before watching 'Paa' I do not know about this disease fully. There are so many program has been broadcasting on TV about this disease. Are They (TV) seriously concerned about this disease or they just sale it for TRP rating.
One more thing, is there any treatment for this disease? No scientist has not been developed any medicine for this disease yet.

Progeria from what I watched in the documentary is hereditary illness. The child is growing old fast and there lifespan is shorter they only live for 13 years. There's is no cure for this because it is degenerative illness you can't control the condition of the child.

There is no cure for this disease and that's truly sad. I didn't watch "Paa" as yet, but did some basic research on progeria, I guess the severity of this disease is immense and the life of those little ones too. According to statistics, 1 in 4 million children are born this way, even though the rate is very low, I wish there would soon be a cure for this disease and save the lives of those little ones.
