Ever since I watched this series, I am getting goosebumps just to hear them singing. I am flooded of memories of high school. I am not the most popular kid in school, but I am not the most unnoticeabale being in school either. I have cool friends that I hang out with like Kim, Lea, Frances, Patrick, Annlyn. I was writing for the school paper Reflections. I joined the COCC, a quasi CAT military training, but left it later on. I was a contender in the spelling contests in school. But at some point, I felt that I was never going to shine because of the very competitive nature of the school. Only those who play sports, who are good in Math, who are honor students, who are rich and who are very talented were noticed. The rest were left to themselves. I only discovered my passion for singing when I started college. I joined the Nursing choir but they disbanded the organization. Until now, I would watch movies with choir themes like Sister Act 2.I also joined the Music Ministry in our community BCBP. As I was watching the kids of Glee, I can't help but cry. Given the chance if there is a group looking for singers, I am going to join the group.

As strange a combination as it is, I was kind of a mix of Rachel and Quinn. I was a cheerleader and I was pretty popular but I got completely disenchanted with the cheerleading schtick and with my coach, just the way Quinn did with Sue. But like Rachel, I was involved in so many other things as well. If we had a had a Glee club or show choir I would have done that. I was in theater, the stage choir, peer counselors, newspaper/yearbook, track.....I was pretty heavily involved and had my picture on several different pages of the yearbook, just like Rachel.

I've heard a lot about Glee; a lot of my friends love that show. I saw the first episode, and parts of a couple others, but I never really got into it. I wasn't much of a competitor in school, let alone a singer. w
