Using the internet and surfing the web can be as sweet as candy, but sometimes, as sweet as it is. Donot give your personal information to the strangers. Never give out your bank or credit card information unless you are shopping with a well known or highly orated online business. Never open email attachments from strangers unless u can trust them and you have security settings on your computer. Beware of spoof email claiming to be from ebay, paypal, bank asking for personal or sensitive information. Get a good antivirus program, spyware remover and firewall like bitdiffender. And change your passwords everymonth

Hi reh! Thanks very much for your valuable advice regarding safer user of internet and I hope that others will take note of your advice and would not land themselves into trouble, unnecessarily. It is correct that sometimes we get tempted to open unknown email, without blinking our eyes and face the music. We should be very cautious while dealing with emails, asking for our personal details. One can also use 'email filter sites' to stop the unwanted mails.

If the computer not only you use it, then you need to clear all your private data including password and user name. Usually the browser save cookies, password or anything if you open a site.

Even with all those tips its simple. Use common sence. There is no real real way to be truely "safe" online. One mistake can be dangerous. Espically with fishing out there. Places that claim to be trusted sites such as your bank, or some online store. Most people get caught because they think they are at a legit site that looks likes a trusted site. Trusted stites are on secure networks, with a locked symbol. Fisher sites don't have any sucerity masures.
