what type of cards does paypal accept? i am from nepal and tried to create an account using visa electron debit card but i was unsuccessful. Does paypal accept only credit cards or is there any sort of restrictions for my country.

You can use debit card from your country. You dont need any credit card just open the paypal account. Even if you dont have the credit card you can open paypal account and use it. I dont think there is restriction on your country.

I have already tried but my debit card does not get verified. I think is it due to the fact that my debit card is valid for india and nepal only.

You dont need debit cards to open the PayPal account. You only require to confirm your account If you exceed $500 per month limit. So simply add your bank details and you can withdraw funds. And yes, to add funds you need credit card.

So can I transfer my money on bank account to paypal account without using a credit card so that I can buy items. My paypal account is not verified. Ok let's more simpler. I am trying to buy a laptop at ebay which costs around US$ 1200 and don't have a credit card but have a debit card and a bank account with the money. As ebay accepts paypal, what should i do to but the laptop?
