I am a person with a very fast metabolism I think because I used to eat a lot of foods especially those that are rich in protein and carbohydrates but my body is still very petite. I've been wanting to gain at least 5 kg of body weight but I couldn't. I'm already confused about what I need to do for me to gain more weight.

Hi Pentagan! You are so lucky to have that problem. I know you're asking for suggestions on how to gain weight, but can I just suggest that you let time take its course? ;-)
Enjoy it. As we get older, the metabolism slows down anyway.
Most of us have to figure out how NOT to gain that weight.

Thanks for this response. I understand what you were saying. It's just that I am already tired of what people used to tell me. I became deaf of hearing such words from them. I want to gain weight but not too much of course. Well, I do hope my metabolism will become a little slower than usual so I may have that chance to gain more weight.

To gain weight you need to do it the right way. You don't want to load up on fats, but try slowly adding slightly more fattening foods into your diet. I'm not say go overboard, but incress it just a little bit. Continue to exersese you'll gain the weight, but it'll be in muscle tone which is better then flab and fat.
