Winterizing automobile.

It doesn't get a cold here as in alot of places I know. What would be the best way to winterize my vehicle? It does snow here at times. You never know how it will be from year to year. I have a Dodge, Dakota. Not 4 wheel drive. I would appreciate any advice.
