Is it Necessary to Bifurcate INDIAN STATES further?

India
December 11, 2009 12:39am CST
Recently, the central government of India has agreed for a formation of a new state called TELANGANA out of the existing ANDHRA PRADESH state due to the agitations started by a political party TRS. I am really confused that why should the central government succumb to the un necessary demand of political parties. There are many things to be achieved such as eradication of drought, poverty, illiteracy and development of sanitation, better health facilites etc., Leaving all those, the demanding for seperate states absolutely make no meaning at all. The agreement for the formation of a new state has resulted in much more districts in different part of the state demanding for a seperate state and even union territories have joined in the race. According to me, the bifurcation of states based on linguism itself in 1950's-60's itself is a fatal error and they are further rubbing salt into the wounds. By creating seperte states, it weakens the integrity of our country further. Hence these demands must be controlled with Iron hands and hence I suggest that these kind of activities must not be encouraged and immediately curbed. Friends, please pour in your suggestions. Have a great day. Happy Mylotting. Cheers:-)

hi vinslounge, hi firebrand,i am thinking why you have not posted any postings on Telengana issue, now it has come, that is correct either it may be trs or some other they have no such nature of serving the people than earning their own funds,if you wish to service there is no necessary of party or posting required, now the people are only for money and power, bring any leader without power and money in the scene,no body will come forward to serve the people, all is mesh no one is right in politrics, have a nice day

Yes thanks. Actually due to hectic work schedule, I am unable to visit mylot frequently. Instead of creative activities like River linking, Abolishing poverty, unemployement etc., it is un necessary to bifuracte our country into further states. This means setting up of more constitutional assemblies, budgets, Parliamentary stuffs and other things. Now more regions are demanding for seperate states and I am afraid that there might be some 70+ states if this trend occurs.

Bifurcation- simply implies the hostility within political parties and crave to sit in a ruling position somehow or the other. I could just imagine the indian flag with chakra containing 24 straight lines meaning 24 different states now been shaded fullly... How could the government simply agree with the memorandum posed.? Though there are still difficulties in implementation, i personally feel its a shame to indian govt, as other states hav started their own protest of claiming new states. On the whole it has become an issue to futher weaken the politics of India. Hope the bill is not passed and andhra is not broken !!

Hi i am from Andhra pradesh and belongs to telangana region. I my self and many of our district don't want telangana and seperate state..but some political parties for their vote bank, pulled telangana issue.am very much upset by the decision taken by central government.the total fault by Congress government and now the state is burning by worst politicians. If separate state formed it weakens our voice in Parliament and at central government.

Sorry to say that the Bifurcate of India is absolutely a very reality of the time as well as the time to come,I am afraid or rather without any real-interest I will go by the further division of all the districts the states and India as a whole. As a general public like you and me can only think and speak on the subject but cannot take any meaningful or positive action in favor of India,B'coz our history have been made in this way the day we got the independence with the rider of Pakistan with the condition to deliberately putting/pushing Subash Chandra Bose in the black hole for ever and to oil the wheel of nepotism and vested interest of our politician. One big positive or fulfilling aspect of division of India is that not one or few political party gets to eat up India(in all its form) alone but with the rider of "bifurcate"let other too get the chance to plunder India to its very end. We the general masses of India have been witnessing the plunder game so one more..... nothing to be worried. The boarder have been open for immigration on both side of our country which helps eradicate poverty, unemployment, illiteracy and you just name it,for the last 60+ years our great leaders have been doing this,........even a illiterate or a child can say what is good for the country but our leaders won't. This is India My Dear. and let us hope for the best,The TIME and the generation that will come will decide................
