Free windows vista for students of colleges

I have heard in many articles in the internet that microsoft is giving free windows vista to the students of colleges affiliated to the MSDNAA. Is that true?? If it is true what should i do to get a copy myself???

firstly it is not windows vista but windows 7,secondly this party is over.I'm sorry,vista is past-tense

Well that means that now there is no free vista or windows 7
