So, does everyone know about those machines that sit out side of grocery stores? "redbox" you can rent movies for 1.00 per day.
I think it is a GREAT CONVENIENT way to rent a movie and have rented 50+ since I have known about it.
Do you love it or hate it?
some problems I have with it:
1) the movies take FOREVERRRRR to dispense
2) the lines [especially at wal mart] are OUTRAGEOUS
3) They NEVER have new movies, they are gone.
those 3 things bug me EVERY time I got to a red box to get a movie. Other than that, I have not had any problems. My main problem is getting too many movies [hey, they are only A DOLLAR] and then not being able to watch them all and having to pay the extra 1.00 [lol]
Am I just crazy? Anyone else have this same love/hate relationship with redbox?

I'm a fan of redbox. ^-^
Where I live, there's quite a few redbox locations, and there are never lines and the movies are never out. I don't rent movies often, and I find it extremely convinient to rent from redbox- I don't have to have a membership or anything like Blockbuster or netflix.

it is very convenient. I think it just might be my area, it is pretty populated [tampa, fl] so maybe that could be why. I usually only having a problem about movies being available if they just came out. They do have an option on the site to reserve movies, but I cannot figure it out..teehee

Tru. But sometimes I like to preview movies ahead of time if im "iffy" about them. Mostly I will go to Amazon to buy them because you can buy new/used from like 1.00 + s&h.
thanks for the response =]

I've actually never used a RedBox before. I guess a big part of that is because we don't watch a lot of movies at our house and there isn't one that is especially convenient to where we live. The closest one is at Krogers but I haven't shopped there in a while, so even that would be an extra trip that would result in me spending more money than I intended to spend.
That said, from what I've noticed there is very rarely if ever a line at them. Since I haven't tried it yet, I can't make a statement regarding whether or not the new releases are in fact available, but I'll be willing to bet that they are not. Even when it was traditional places that we went to to rent movies you could never find the new movies.
