Every rude thing someone said to me at work... Bill Gates would ENVY me! I work at a chain fast food establishment and work mostly in the drive-thru. Today, I had a regular come in and strike up the same conversation with me he has everytime. He tells me I look familiar and where does he know me from? As always, I told him from "here" [the store] I walked away to grab his food and when I came back, he asked if I have a boyfriend. [it's an understandable question, and it did not put me off.] I politely answered "yes." He then has the AUDACITY to say "ok, I'll wait til he is done" WTF!? I was so dumbfounded. He just drove away. What am I? some kind of meat? disposable at anyones discretion. I tried not to let it get to me. But I cant help wondering, has anyone else had encounters with men like this?

I think it is pretty disgusting. He is basically saying I am something disposable to men and of no value. He will have me when my boyfriend is done. Me and my boyfriend have been together for 3 years and I am NOT look, I really dont care what he looks like...

Okey this guy is a PIG. He see you like a product, that he can get easily. It's just pathetic for this kind of people, they just don't see the real persons they are living in there small imaginary world, where they can have anything that they wish for.

Huh that was rude. Some people can just never say the right thing at the right time. And hello, its a place of business not a pick up joint.

THANK YOU! I am there to work, not be treated like some animal. I mean, I can understand if he was interested and asked me if i was single, ok. But, what he said after was SO uncalled for. Thanks for the input!! =]

I really hate men that act like that. I don't know why it is that men always seem to think that a woman is disposable. I am like you and I am not disposable. I've gone through a few break-ups in my life and those were nearly devastating to me, so how can a man in his right mind ever say that he will wait until your boyfriend is done with you. He is a pig and he doesn't even deserve the attention that you have to give to him as he is a customer and you are the service provider. I would be just as mad as you are.
