Can you eat alone?

When i was young, i often hear people in my home how they don't want to eat alone. that they want somebody to eat along with. at home i got used to eat alone as people here are quite busy in his own thing and that we rarely eat at the same time. sometimes we do, sometimes we don't but it is no big deal now we are all grown up if we don't eat together on the table. but i guess for families with little children it is really important to eat as a family. But being adult now, sometimes it is awkward to always wait for other members of the family before you eat. Like they don't expect you any more to wait on them. as long as you food left for them and that you don't eat every on the table . So can you manage eating alone.

yes, I can , I am always eat alone , I have been accustomed.when I eat alone ,but I do not feel lonely,when I eat alone I would like to think many things .this is why I do not feel lonely.

i used to feel lonely though being alone. but any more though. i have learned to be happy even when i am alone.

sometimes i eat in front of the tv so that i will not get bored eating alone. or while i am listening to music as you said. sometimes i just try to be creative so that my place won't be that boring.

yes, my friend,I think this is a good idea,when you feel lonely ,I suggest you can listen some soft music or play PC games a while, I do it. remember keep smiling.

I can eat alone hotsummer even if my family is not at home with me. I have been eating alone so many of times until I have gotten used to it. When I used to live with my grandmother when I was younger, my aunt made us wait on her to fix her food after she would get off from work. We would get home around 3:20 p.m. and my grandmother got off from work at 4:00 p.m. She did not get back to her house until 4:30 p.m. We had to wait on her to fix her food. We was so hungry in having to wait on my grandmother to get off from work. I am so glad that those days are over with!

oh it is funny that your grandma would ask you to wait for her for you all to eat together. that was sweet and also hard to wait before you can have your meal.

yes, I can eat a lot when I'm alone there's no one who can disturb and a can eat fast too when I'm alone that's better when I'm in a hurry. also, it is better to focus in eating than talking with someone.

yeah when we are alone we can do what we want. but when somebody with us we also the other people into consideration. we don't want to be caught eating too fast.

Hi hotsummer,Yes i do,Some times if my husband is not arround because of his job.My children also are in their offices and schools.I oblige my self to eat alone or else i wii get hungry if iwill wait for them to come.Thanks,good luck!

well yes we don't have other choice if all are working and you are left alone. i used to be like that before. when all of my family just go out early in the morning and comes back at night.

Yes, i can eat alone. Especially when my family are already done eating.
It is normal for any to eat alone. Im sure they have experienced to eating alone.

Basically, I can eat by myself but I guess having a meal with someone is better than being alone. Based on my experience, I have a good appetite when I am eating with many people. I guess you feel the same way too, right?
