Anyone read the book "Push" by Sapphire?

I have not yet but the book is going around the kitchen were I work! So far 3 people have read it! It is a great book! It has shocking parts and good parts! Everyone who has read it couldn't put it down! I hope to read it soon! I know the movie "Precious" is based on the book.

I've only heard of the book because of hearing about Precious. From seeing the trailers, I can tell that the story looks really sobering and intense. My mom loves those stories of poor people overcoming unimaginable conditions to do something great- she want to see the movie really badly, and I almost bought the book for her as a Christmas present.

I have heard of the book title, but as of today have not heard what it was about. I think that since it is about the movie "Precious" then I will like it. I have not seen that movie either, only the previews. But plan on it.
