Watching With Family

I used to watch this show avidly since I was twelve years old, and even sometimes I'd watch it with my great aunt who was in her nineties, who had been watching it for a long time too probably, but ever since her death, I've let it go to the wayside, and watch it every once and awhile. Does anyone else have any similar stories about watching Soap operas in general with family, or why they stopped watching etcetera. One of my either cousins or great aunts, can't remember had watched the show General Hospital since the very beginning, when she was pregnant.
