I am searching a free image hosting site which i can share my pictures with my friends.Although I use two such sites now,the upload speed is slow and the URLs they provide are too long. Do you know a site which provide a simple URL that i can use to share the pictures. Thanks for sharing!

try www.picturepush.com They uploading is pretty fast.. they provide short links.. - direct links - links for websites - links for forums - that too at any resolution They don't cut down the quality/resolution of the picture that you can even store a 12 Mega Pixel picture as such.. All this for free..

I use photo bucket and tinypic well mostly photobucket to upload my images. The upload speed depends on your connection speed. No matter the website if your photos are large, or your connection is slow, then the upload speed would be effected. So take those things to account because that will effect things. As for long links sometimes websites like photobucket give you long options because they include code you may need to post to blogs, websites, and message boards. They sometimes also offer "direct" links which is simply the url without the code. So consider those things as well. Any image-hosting site will have their versioion.
