It really puts me off seeing so many strangers requesting you to add them. And I wonder whay they do it? I mean do they go for looks or what? And how do they search for you? But its not a good sign.

I will, but only for gaming purposes. If just an unknown contact list, I most probably won't, because I'm wary of viruses spreading around on Facebook nowadays.

I don't. To me facebook is more about keeping in touch with my friends and family rather than how big my friends list is.

Nope, I don't accept strangers on my friends list on Facebook. That being said, I did make two exceptions ... but both were from a common interest that I have. One person I am glad I accepted ... the other is totally into herself so we don't communicate much anyway. Otherwise, I don't add people I don't know in real life. The rest of my friends list are family and friends . . . I don't need whackos that I don't know to know my personal business!

Sometimes I do sometimes I don't. It depends on what type of mood I'm in. If I have a host of notifications that need my attention, I'll do what I think is quickest so I can breeze right through them. A lot of the first friends I had on facebook were people I knew, and old people from my school. In fact I found more people that attended my school on facebook then I did on any other social network.

Well, you can divide the people that send you requests in severeal types: 1) The ones you know but you dont remember knowing This may sound funny, but there is a time when i get requests and i am like "who is THIS person - i have never seem them" but then somethimes it strikes me that i actually know them. I have to admit that it was facebook that showed me how many people i know and how many friends have been forgotten through the years. So sometimes i accept request from people who i think that i dont know, but i am not really sure about it 2) There are those that I do not know but with whom you have common friends I dont know why do people tend to want to be friends with their friends? Seriously, people, you really take the saying "The friends of my friends are my friends, too". i dont accept requests from people that add me just because i am in thier friends' lists 3) The third group is the group of people that play games and want to have more people to play with. I usually dont accept these request, however i make an exception for those who play Mafia wars :) 4) And finally there are these people that see your picture somewhere and like it and presume, that you will deffinately like them in return. Strange world, huh?

No, I don't. I usually check if we have common friends. If we do not, then I ignore the request. It makes me paranoid who that stranger is and why he wants to be friends with me.

definetely not. I find that a little disturbing. I do let people add me when they think Im someone else though :D
