The world is huge!

Please don't call yourself stupid! Yes, it is pretty amazing. Even though we may understand what this planet looks like, and why one side has day while the other has night, it's hard to grasp sometimes that other people are in such a different part of their day than I am. Even knowing all I do, it's kind of magical.

also at the same time, it can be a very small world. it can be amazing the people u can meet, that know a friend or family members. like my uncle saw a sticker on a vehicle for a pub out here that is very famous world wide depending on the industry your working in. any way he went in the pub and asked the people who owned the vehicle where they got the sticked from. turned out they had been jackaroos a few hrs from here. there's 3 time zones in australia, and it can be confusing cause queensland doesn't have daylight saving time. so their an hour behind us at the moment

Yes of course the world is huge, that's why it can hold and feed billions of people every year. But, historydog, have you ever considered other planets out there, such as jupiter? which is 5 times as big as earth and has 63 times the pull of gravity? Now that's a big planet. If it counts, in our solar system, the obviously bigged thing is the Sun. So I know it's very cool to know that our planet is really big, but when we compare our planet to the other planets and sun in the solar system, we are very small.

I agree with you .Not only the region but also the nation is huge .I always dream to travel to everywhere.
