lol, not really, all I have is investing and bonds, stuff like that. otherwise, I'm stuck making low amounts of money on these internet websites. I am only 17, and still in school, jobs aren't really good for me atm. I don't need a get rich quick scheme, I need a make money at decent rates.

If you worked full time (that is a 40 hour week) for 6 months (26 weeks), you would need to earn less than a dollar an hour to make $1000 ($1000/(26*40) = $0.96). Now, I don't know what applies to 17 year olds but the minimum wage in the US is around $8 an hour. Let us say that you could find a job at $5 an hour, 1000/5 = 200 and 200 hours spread over 6 months is about 7 1/2 hrs a week or less than 2 hours a day (in a five day week). Even if you are a student or already working, an extra two hours a day (provided you can find a suitable job - cleaning, dog-walking or something like that) is definitely achievable. If you do the same calculations yourself, don't forget to add in the cost of gas and any other expenses you can think of. Making even this sort of money on the Internet over this period of time is possible but it would be risky to rely on it. Many people have done it but it does require quite a lot of time, good writing skills and a certain amount of a flair for selling or addressing a particular market. You could be lucky (indeed, if you knew exactly what needed doing and had the time to put in initially, you might very well succeed) but don't forget that about 90% of all the people who attempt to start an online business give up within 6 months. A regular part-time job is by far the most likely and time-effective way of earning $1000 in 6 months.
