Free Website Hosts that allow ecommerce

Anyone know of free web hosts that allow ecommerce? I'm about to begin selling an ebook online, but I'm hesitant to spend any money in the beginning in case it fails. The domain name of the website is less important, I would like it to be .com, but I know that costs. To simplify: I want to get a website on the internet without paying anything, and I want to be able to sell items on it, too. Thanks.

I know of a site that allows it and you do not have to pay anything for the host, if you are interested let me know. I am not sure if I can post the information here.

Nothing in life is actually "free". There are free website hosting sites, most of them encourge ecomerse, but you have to be willing to read through the guidlines you're given when you do come across one. There are always going to be terms and conditions so watch out for those so they don't come back to haunt you in the future. Try searching online with thos spesific key words you should find what you're looking for. Beware of "free" trails though those aren't truely "free".

Thanks a lot. You're right, nothing is free. What I had hoped for would be a website that could take a (small) percentage of every sale, thus we both make money, similar to what PayPal does.
