What's up with this Mugabe guy?

I could not find an appropriate discussion interest title, I was going for "Over the Edge". President Robert Mugabe is a detriment to his own people. He runs his country like a Harlem mafia. What ever happen to the good old days when the Russians and the Americans would just get rid of the guy. Of course other governments were involved in that sort of thing, like France, England, Germany, Romania, in fact most if not all were involved at one time or another. Even the Dutch! Mugabe is another world leader who claimed to up hold democratic principles but we find the opposite to be true. It's a shame that so many other world leaders from "democratic nations" support Mugabe. Do you support him? If not, why?
