Often the most dramatic conflicts are not those that take place between nations but rather the conflict within ourselves. What are you battling with right now? What unwanted habit? What undesirable behavior? What old pattern? When we claim victory over these our entire life will change for the better. Has anyone experienced this or are you still involved in the conflict?

Hello Dear Pose. It is an interesting and good topic of yours. I agree that it is the inner conflicts that prevent us from improving us to some extent. If we can overcome these inner conflicts, we will be sure to win more successes one after another.

Conflicts are part and parcel of our lives. Even if we want to keep away from a conflict, sometimes we are dragged into it. Don't go far, let's discuss conflict in the workplace. It may have been started by someone else, but by the end of the day, it may involve more than two persons. Even on the street, when there is a brawl, we bystanders are morally obliged to help the weak and by doing so, we get involved in the conflict. Conflicts within ourselves is just as tiring, especially if it involves close family members or friends. Though we may not want to take sides, we have to make a decision on the parties involved and this might lead to other conflicts. Conflicts may change one's outlook on life in general. Sometimes , a very gregarious person might become introverted, as a result of the experience. What I cited as an example is just a tip of the iceberg, for I have come across immense changes in personalities of those who have had nasty experiences during conflicts.

I think my biggest inner conflict right at this moment is being healthy. I don't exercise, and I haven't jog for more than 6 months. I eat unhealthy food and I don't get enough sleep. I tell myself that next weekend I will start running again, and that I will avoid greasy food. Still, I can't seem to get to that 'next weekend'.
