I'm sorry to ask this silly question, but I don't know how to save a DVD on my laptop. I have a Dell laptop with good settings. I'm sure that it can be done in my laptop, but really don't know how to do.
I want to save some DVDs to watch during my trip in two weeks.
Thank you.

I am not aware of any ideas you are asking for.But I would like to know about the battery backup of your laptop. If it is just 2 or 3 hours like in a conventional laptop, how could it help you on your long journey?Do you carry another battery or will there be any facilities to charge your laptop in the journey?

That is news for me.I haven't traveled like that in an a/c coach and I am completely unaware of the facility. So,enjoy your travel with all good movies and songs which you can't see on local working days.By the way, take some good books which can relieve you when you are bored of the movies.

We are planning to travel by train - Two tier AC. We have taken trains many times previously and found that each cell has a port to charge your mobile phone or laptop. Seeing this only we have decided to take the laptop during travel and fill the boring hours of travel with movie. We have booked a side seat up and down. So, it won't be disturbance to co-travellers.

Thanks for the response. Advance Happy Christmas to you and family. I will try to copy the DVD using the link. Can I do it without using internet? I think there is a provision for that. Yes, I have enought storage place. Is this website authorized? I'm scared of going to different websites because I recently got virus - Trojan horse into my laptop and had a tough time dealing with it.

Hi, this is an application which you have to download and install to your laptop. The application can be used without the Internet. Do you have anti-virus install in your laptop? I cannot guarantee anything about virus invasion but previously I install this application to do DVD backup and everything seems well. Hopefully someone else could provide you an alternate solution for you to choose from if you aren't comfortable with this application. Cheers
