Does changing themes for WMP changes music quality?

Recently I've downloaded a new theme for my Windows Media player and amazingly found that the music quality has changed. Now it is providing moss bass and pinching treble. I've changed the settings but no worth. Again when I am shifting to old classic theme , the old sound is coming back. Is there any problem with my WMP or it is common to everyone?
