How often you tried to stop quarrels?

I tried on a few occasions to intervene and stop quarrels in my work place. But the result was not there. On the contrary there was all the more quarreling. Sometimes it is very painful to see two or three people quarreling on a petty issue. Did you ever try to intervene and stop quarrels and if so what was your experience?

Yes, I have. I have tried to stop quarrels between my mom and my sister. Unfortunately, I only made the situation worse. Every time I tried, I would want to help, but only made it worse. Eventually I realized what was happening and decided that I would just not intervene. It wasn't because I enjoyed listening to their quarrels from my bedroom. It was because I wasn't helping the situation.
