It is true that education gives a sense of security. Uneducated peopled always have the fear of being dominated by the educated. If each of us get educated we can live without fear of domination. Education after all can be described as a light that gives brilliance to the world called people. Education is something that is compulsory for all.

I had one of those incredibly secure childhoods, and looking back i think it was consistency - of love, discipline, good on the table at a certain time, and what was expected of me. I also felt secure in the neighborhood, where i was about a dozen moms. No matter where you where, if you needed a band aid, a mom gave it to you. If you needed a swat on the behind, you got that too. With friends, their honesty gives me my sense of security.

Education is vital for a happy and successful life in most cases. In a few cases a person is a famous star because of their acting or their singing. I was speaking to a mother of a 13 year old boy. He can't read and write at his age. Well. I think his primary school failed him. They should have given him extra help to learn how to read and write. If he leaves school in three years time he won't get a good job. Education is like a staircase. A builder can't put on the top step without having firm foundations. I have got a long list of education that I have. I am a primary school teacher.

do you mean that the sole purpose of education is to make ourselves feel secured and not fear ever since? i belive you are right in some aspects.but what i have seen is that more and more college graduates are employed ,or dominated as you put it,by established businessman with lower acdemic degrees.can education make us secured and settled after all?

Dear Cudamani, Yes, educaton is always perceived to be sense of security among most people. Education is the source of knowledge and if one is learned then he feels a sense of confidence to live which of course could also contribute to the development of self-competence. We need competence in order to survive globally in this times and age characterized by electronic mediated communications or even in the ordinary interaction we do with people. In life we have to cope up with the specs of the present times and it is only through education that we can engressly say we can survice, and survival is the spectrum towards attianing a sense of self security. Remember this is also a life skill.
