Domestic Violence

As a survivor of Domestic Violence, I have PTS and still have flashbacks from over 30 years ago. What do you do to prevent these? Why don't more women and men get out of these situations? I did without doing in my husband. My life is so much better now. I wonder if he ever has guilt.If you committed violence against another, do you feel guilt?

I don't know why more women or men don't do something about I am a product of child abuse an watched my mom being slapped around my sister still has problems with it but with me my husband knows about how my brothers an sister grew up so he is a doll an we are raiseing our girls to know they don't need to take nothing an they always have a place to go if it gets bad so far so good
