do you think another planet that can support life exists in this universe. do you think humans will be there on it. do you think we can make contacts with them.

No, I don't, and I'll tell you why. God created the earth to be a place to put man. There is nothing written in the Bible about Him creating other worlds with other people. Plus, no matter what you think or say, there is absolutely no evidence to back up the theory of extra-terrestrial life. UFO's don't count, because they are too easily faked, and people will believe anything, if it contains ET's or spiritual mumbojumbo. Remember that old saying. "Those who refuse to believe in God will believe in everything else." But, I could be wrong, too. So far, no one's been able to prove me wrong, though.

i am sorry buddy, i am not trying to hurt your religious sentiments, but its a fact that bible says earth is flat do you still believe in it.. bible holds earth as the center of the universe... what do you infer

The Bible DOESN"T say that the earth is flat, that's what those with no understanding think it says. Have you ever read the Bible? Everything in the first 3 chapters indicates a round earth. Did you know that Albert Einstein was Jewish, and that all his marvelous equations were based on what we call the "old testament"?

I won't go in to religion in my response and I will most likely not respond to religiously oriented comments, i will keep my response in the realm of science. The visible universe is nearly nearly 14 billion light years, and thats just the visible universe, we can't see what is beyond that only because the light from beyond that hasn't reached us yet. Given the size and age of the univrse, we can at least safely count on a few things..... 1. Life is quite likely out there, somewhere, in fact the odds are good that there is civilization out there...somewhere. 2. If there is life out there somewhere, say even in our own galaxy, given that the universe is nearly 14 billion years old there is a good chance any nearby life could already have come and gone a billion years ago and we would never have any idea that they ever existed.

i think this is a good thing to do, to keep the religion away and adhere to science. you have made an excellent point about the size of the universe. its just its size and vastness that induced this thought into my mind.

You certainly could be right. There could be other life out there. I doubt it, though. If the existance of the earth and all the varieties of live here are due to an "accident", What are the odds of that self-same accident hapening again? Or even the first time, for that matter. And the age of the universe is very much open for debate, as I don't trust their dating methods. These are the scientists who were using carbon dating to date the earth until we burried them in incontravertible evidence that the half life of carbon 14 isn't what they were assuming it was. It took many years to get that through their thick skulls. I'm willing to accept the possibility of other life, but without proof, I'll not accept it as fact. Notice that I accept the possibility, not the probability. Even the possibility is so remote using the "science" that is being used that I barely accept that.

Hi thesaiyanprince, I think it should be obvious to everyone today that we are not the only planet with life. There may be many other planets that are capable of sustaining human life as we know it here, especially since there are innumerable planets out there. Other planets may have different life forms just as we have different life forms here.As for making contact that will no doubt come in time. Remember that there are probably those far more advanced than us and it may be them making contact with us. Blessings.

How is it obvious? And making contact? are you serious? Here? Have you taken a good long look at the race of man? If there are other inteligent beings out there, why would they come here? Humans are ugly, they smell funny, and they're primitive and tend towards violence. Any being with the ability of interstellar travel would avoud this planet like the plague. I truely doubt any exist, though.

When I seriously think about this I genuinely believe that we will one day have to vacate planet Earth and seek an alternative home! I don't believe that there is a planet that we can live on at the present time, not in our Solar system anyhow. The scientists are very busy though and are working hard in order to try and understand everything about the planet Mars! This is probably the closest place that we will be able to vacate to. Mars will have to be colonised and an atmosphere will have to be created! From watching some of those science documentaries I understand that all kinds of fungi or bacteria will have to be planted there including a huge release of CO2 or carbon dioxide in order to heat the planet up. Initially they may create domes that are pressurised and we will have to live in them. You've seen this in science fiction movies but it's likely that it will no longer be science fiction but science fact. Also, I don't believe that we are alone in this Universe, how can we be? We know nothing about what is out there, outside of our Solar system as it were! I think that it's only a matter of time before we make contact with another species and they may be far more intelligent than the human race! This is an interesting subject and I love watching those science documentaries! Andrew

The odds are that all of these things exist in quantity. The question is, most likely, do they want contact with us? I'm not sure I would, the way we act: fight, steal, rape, murder, etc. Would you want people like that moving in next door to you? LOL

We are ignorant of we believe that we are the only life form in the whole of the universe. Will we ever be able to make contact with other life forms? Well maybe in the future, many years from now. One day everyone will see that we are not the only life form we can be, the universe is millions of lightyears long we cant be the only ones!

what is your idea about UFO's

I have never actually witnessed one so I am not sure. I believe that they may exist, how else would they get around and for there to be so many sightings. Im really not sure though
