hello lotters,
Well, it seems that the most active volcano in the Philippines is ready to pop-up any time since there are already lava flowing out of the volcano's mouth and the people living almost near that mountain had been evacuated
.
the last time that a volcano erupted here was about eighteen years ago when the Mt. Pinatubo Erupted violently causing people to die or left there homes. some of it's sands reached here at my country.
I hope no one get's killed in case this volcano explodes.

Yeah I've seen on the TV that the crater is already glowing hot and is spewing lava going down the mountain. I remember as a kid when it erupted and we even visited and watched the eruption from a distance. Mayon Volcano though is an active volcano seldom does it erupt violently as compared to Mt. Pinatubo. It usually spews hot rocks but the eruption remains very calm. You may hear a thunder from time to time and a few rocks being thrown out of the mouth but it seldom hits populated area. Although they are making places near the foot of the mountain evacuate immediately because of these. Lahar flow are what is more dangerous as this usually flows after eruption and when rainy season arrives.

sorry wrong name there. but the message almost remain the same. they should not be out side when it explodes. lava or rocks can melt a persons body besides that it can burn.

Mayon's explosion is not that explosive as Mt. Pinatubo several years ago. The residents there usually are not that stubborn anymore as they are used to that kind of emergencies as that usually happens every ten years or so. Although this year Volcanologist are fearing that it may become explosive because they are seeing a second dome blossoming so if that happens that would mean a full blast eruption would happen and they would have to extend the danger zone to a wider area.

Hello dawn,
I hope so because the people living a few kilometers from the volcano had been evacuated already. I hope no one is stupid enough to comeback of course, most specially if the cone explodes. I fear for their safety. Thanks for the response, have a nice day dawn.

It am scared when it explode this Holiday SEason. This season many people are busy on preparing for Christmas but on that place near the Mayon, they are busy on how to save themselves. Its sad to know we will anticipate a problem this Christmas. It will explode anytime soon as I had seen on the news it extracted a very hot lava. I hope all of the people near that mountain already evacuated as soon as possible. We can't fight nature, if it will explode, it will explode. The only matter is we are prepared.

Hello grecy,
That’s going to be one hell of a explosion for the advance new year. I hope no one is near that volcano unless some one wants to have themselves killed in action. They have been evacuated already, nature as it’s finest. Too bad the cone won’t be so perfect anymore. At least a lot were enjoying the view in the evening regarding the exposure of it’s lava flow.

Wow that sounds scary! I can’t imagine living near an active volcano like that! It reminds me of what happened in Pompeii and it is a frightening thought! I hope that everybody there is safe. Do you live close to it? It’s a relief that some people have been evacuated so it sounds like they are prepared. I pray it will be okay.

Hello Letran,
I hope this will give us(the government)more attention rather than the Martial law issues and so-so issues at the senate and congress.
I just wish the palace will give the best help and care our fellow citizens needs rather than vacationing and enjoying life(flying here and there).
This is another crisis and very sad event for this season dear brother.
Let's just pray no one will be get hurt, and every residents(near Mayon)will be safe.

Granting the witness is reliable and true to his word...do you think this case will be a different one from the previous unsolved cases?...so many to enumerate...but i can't remember any being resolved and justice being served (ugh!!!!)
I would rather watch old movies nah
have a good day dear

We'll all just hope and pray that nothing bad will happen to the Filipinos living near the volcano when is erupts. It's really sad to hear this news especially when we know that Christmas is coming :( Hope all the Filipinos will be united again in helping these affected families to the things they will be needing, prayers most especially.

Hello gaiza,
Am sure relief goods are still standing by just in case those people homes that would be destroyed. If they dare to come back, and the mayon explodes, then that’s the end for them. They have been evacuated already, I hope that they will stay into the designated areas until the volcano subsides.

The government did a good job in evacuating the residents near the volcano. With it's eruption imminent, I think we'll see this before the year ends. I just hope and pray there aren't any casualties.

philvolcs is expecting that the major explosion happens within the next two days or so. i feel bad for those who are affected by this. i mean to spend the holidays in a cramped evacuation center is bad enough. going back home to ashes and lava makes everything worse!
the government did well to forcibly evacuate those who are in the immediate danger and as well as providing relief goods this early. let me just comment on the fact that the sitting president is on vacation in hongkong as the country is undergoing another natural disaster. i know this is the holidays and president deserves some private time to spend the holidays with her family but come on, her going to hongkong with this hanging over our heads... it leaves a bad taste to the mouth.
just my thoughts!
cheers!!!

Hello paula
,
It is scary, am glad that the government had constantly monitored this volcanos activity. Now, anytime this year it will explode for not it’s pumping out some Lava here and there. No, I don’t live there and no immediate threat here since it’s way too far from our province. But if it does explode, it’s going for the entire province.

they should be out of the way when the lava started flowing down if they don't want to be a barbeque. seriously, they might ended being an ice cream in the river of more than two thousand degree magma like fluid.
