I would have to say that my grandparents were my favorite. My grandfather passed away some time ago and my grandmother has alzheimers disease. She is still my heart. She just doesnt know it. My uncle Jeff and My Aunt Dottie were the best until they got married. Then things changed. We are still close but not as we were. I would have to say that my favorite relative would have to be my maternal grandparents. Even though she doesnt know Im her granddaughter she likes me and says Im her dear friend. I have all our special memories and no one can take that away from me. I would have to say that my grandparents would have to be the ultimate. My grandfather was a grumpy old man to everyone. Him and I had a secret. It was all an act. Everyone loved him. But when I was little I truly thought that no one knew but me how nice he really was.My grandfather worked hard to raise my mom and the other 5 kids. No matter what they always had money for me. One time my nana and me and my mom went to the mall and my nana bought me one of each barbie outfits at the store. Plus a new doll. She was the best. I wish everyone had grandparents like mine. Who is your favorite relative. Please share a story...dl

My brother is probably my favorite. I hate to choose favorites, but we just get each other so much more then the rest of our family. We both have the same sense of humor, not a lot of people get it. I still haven't found a boyfriend that has gotten my sense of humor, I don't know if I ever will. I am the closest to my brother. When a bad situation is happening in our family we bring comedic relief to it. My brother is so gentle and sensitive and nice, he's like no other boy I have ever met. He is smart, creative, and well spoken. In my eyes he will never be able to find a girl thats good enough for him, and in his eyes I will never be able to find a boy good enough for me. I love my brother very much, most of the good times are memories with him.

Hey Girlie! I have always wanted a brother. My mother lost a boy before she had me. She didnt take it well. Then She had three girls. People I know that have brothers seem to have great relationships with them. I was the oldest so I was the one who had to be clung on to all the time. I would've loved an older brother. Your very lucky to have a brother you enjoy. It could've been the other way around where you hated him. It must be great for you both. Thanks for sharing. For a moment I lived thru you and imagined that I,too, had an older sibling. Then I woke up. lol Happy Holidays to your and your brother. Happy MyLotting dl

I couldn't imagine hating any of my siblings, no matter how exasperating they were. Family is family, and their the only one you get! I feel very blessed to have an older brother who watches out for me, and my best interests. I wish you could also have experienced having a brother, as it is very special the bond that you sometimes get out of brother-sister relationships.

Dear friend, Yes, grandparents were really precious in our family too. Whenever I just rewind my memories I could remind more of good and happy things with them. Also there are relatives who do have given importance to our family. My close friends too are big jems in our family. I am sure they give a strong strength to my problems whenever I have to face it.

Grandparents are what holds a family together. As I have said many times my grandmother now has alzheimers so memories for me are precious. I am glad your family is full of happy memories. Family is a sacred thing. I hope you and your family, and friends have the best holiday ever. dl

I was always closest to my maternal grandparents, but now they are both gone. Next to them I'd choose my mother, and somewhere near her is my Aunt (her sister-in-law) but I love every member of my family for totally different reasons, and in totally different ways. The members i mentioned are more compatible with my personality, but that doesn't mean that I love the others any less.

It's nice to hear that some families are still close. When I was younger, still in high school, My entire family was inseparable. We had each others backs and all. Now I can honestly say that I havent talked to anyone in my family, other than, my children, in almost a year. You wouldnt believe the changes this family has gone thru. I cant trust anyone. There is always some type of dispute going on that's why I stay away. My girls are 14, and 21 so they pretty much know what's going on. I let them decide whether or not they want to be involved with them. I NEVER talk bad about anyone. My kids see for themselves that its better not to deal with the drama. So consider yourself lucky girlfriend. You have what I would die to have. Things have changes so much from when I was little. Happy Holidays to your and your wonderful family. You are blessed. From the way you carry yourself here on the LOT its no wonder why you have such a wonderful life. Merry Xmas Danish. I hope santa brings you all you asked for. dl

I don't know if I can pick a favorite relative. Most of my relatives live pretty far away and I only get to see them once every few years. I really loved my grandparents in Florida, but my grandmother passed away several years ago. I've only got one grandparent left. I wish I had known them as well as you knew yours.

Yes mine too were my grand parents. I really miss them now that both of them are not in this world. They were the only person that I write letters to and tell them whats going on in the family. They too used to write back to me whenever possible and to keep in touch. My grand father was really nice most of his life he lied abroad, so when he came back in his old age the life was not the same as he expected and he really disliked how things changed here.

I Love my Grandmother. She is my dad's mother. She loves us very much. I lost my grandfather when my dad was 7yrs old. So I don't know how he looks like. But my grandma used to tell me that he looks like my younger brother. She is now 85yrs and he stuggled alot to take care of my dad and then rest of all family members like my mother and us. She is god's gift for us. We love her alot.

It is so great that you did get to spend time with each one them and they are your favorites. You are more blessed than I am. I really don't have a favorite family member. Sometimes they all get on my nerves however I still love them all the same. You are lucky to have great grandparents....

My favorite family member is my mother even though she was high temperament mother, I do respect her the most. Because my mother is single parents that worked to feed our family T.T, I hope someday I can have a capabilities to make my mom and my younger brother and sister happy. If you should love your family member, you should put your mom in the list, even not the first -.-b, that's the point.

My mama! She's always been there for me and she's been my rock and my inspiration for a long time. She has been so supportive of me, and I couldn't be more floored by how dedicated she is to seeing that her childrens' wishes in life come true. I don't really have my dad in my life, but she has more than made up for his absence, and I am so lucky to be able to say that.

Had one Uncle that I really liked and every time I went home and he found out he would come to my mom and dads to see me and visit. Also an AUnt that I dearly loved. I would visit her everytime I got home when I found where she lived I think we were alot alike. My grandma was the best I loved staying with her in the summers. Her house always had good smells of cooking and the food was delisous. I still have a hanky she made from something old that she gave me. Other than that I dont remeber any of them buying me anything I just loved them and they me!

My grandmother on my dad's side was my favorite family member. She loved us a lot. She was one of those grandparents that loved being a grandparent. She was so proud of us. She passed away when I was 18. I always felt she was the only one who understood me and loved me unconditionally. I get sad when I think about her not getting to meet my kids. I have a cousin on my mom's side who I always looked up to also. i don't get to see her much but she always just seemed really cool.
