Do you search People Name online?

Hi Myloters,
With the technology nowadays its so easy to access almost everything online and even people that we know of from old times. I actually often do this when I am bored at home and doing nothing just jump on the net and search names that comes into my head. I often do this with facebook and Friendster. Its really amazing how the result turn up. Just last month actually two of my friends I haven't got in touch for almost 6 years and just because of Facebook we saw each other again just few weeks ago and it was really unbelievable. We still talk bout it until now of how internet brought three of us again.
How about you do you search people online? Which program do you use most when searching people on the net.

Yes I do this. I have found almost everyone I knew from my childhood. I moved to Kansas from Florida suddenly when I was 13 so I miss a lot of people there and most of them I have found and communicate with on facebook.
Another fun thing to do when your bored as far as searching names is genealogy. It is very interesting to find out where your family came from and what people did in their lives.

Will its glad to know that most of the people you know and lost contact with finally now get in touch with you. For my side though not all my friends from school have idea about computers so there's only little amount of theme I found online.
Talking about genealogy we are actually close to finding out who was the family of my dads grandfather. If this happen this is a very big success for our family because we know where our last name really come from but were having difficulty tracing the real family of our grandfather.

yes i have done this in the past and will probably do so in the future but i just like to see what they're up to. there's some i really don't want to talk to, but just want to see how their lives have changed

Thanks for the response Jaher, actually I do this thing to just to see how the people I know from the past doing and how they look now but dont intend to contact theme at all. Even some of my enemies when I was still at school I search theme too online just to see who is laughing now. I know its a bad thing but fun for yourself sometimes.
