nega ratings.. ---- like 'em?

have you ever wondered why people give give out negative ratings eventhough they arent necessary?? for me personally i dont give out negative ratings to people even if they give out horrible comments and offensive ones.. and everybody wonders why i dont do so.. well i have my own reasons.. first of all, no matter how bad an opinion of one person is, he/she is entitled to it.. second, if i give out nega ratings, it might come back to me one day.. i do believe in karma.. and last but not least, it wont help me at all if i give out nega ratings.. it wont help the person im giving it to either... it will just lower down their ratings.. so thats it.. i try to give ++++ to people who are kind enough to take the time to respond to my discussions since its my own little way of saying thank you for responding to my post.. so why do you think people just like to give out those cruel -----???

I don't neg either but it is so obvious here that many others do. I guess that's how they get their kicks and the only opportunity that they have of 'being in control' during their sad pathetic daily life 
I guess many don't like seeing others doing better than them but as you say, it's karma. Maybe if they stopped negging others then their own stars might start rising too. I wonder if one days we will all ever be blue? Wishful thinking?

well i guess thats it.. lol.. thats how they want to kick some a$$ here on mylot so they get away with giving out those ---- to others that they dont like.. well you wish.. it wont happen anyway.. there are many crabs here ..

hi there, after all the fun i had here over the months i think i can even count the number of times i have negged anyone here and that too was long long ago, i don't now unless it is really really

heyy. i also have lots of fun here.. but some people are just meanies.. lol.. they start discussions hoping that people will always agree.. and if no one will agree then they will all give them ----- ugh.. darn people..

I dont give negative ratings also, however I hardly give positive ones, too. I tend to forget to rate posts, even if I like them a lot. But why, indeed people do negative ranking? I read only positive answers to this topic and not a single person who admits that he/she is giving negative rankings.
Maybe, people who do that think of themselves as a critics, but it is useless, because I dont see the point of criticism in this site. but thats just my opinion

good point man.. sometimes its harder to respond to things that you agree with rather than to things you disagree to.. right? its easy if you have another opinion about something rather than having the same of that of someone.. lol good one..
